What customers say?

“ Family business. Husband and the wife are so very kind. Fresh sashimi all the time. Unlike other places, I get to bring my own liquor so save big on the tab. ”

“ Sashimi is so fresh and hot spicy stew is one of my favorite. Very friendly servers and love the vibe they have. ”

- Bonnie Suh -

“ Their speciality is the halibut sashimi -- super fresh and with amazing texture. It's also a lot, so bring friends! The sides and other seafood was okay. ”

- Alan Yao -

“ Talk about a "hole in the wall." I have passed by this place many times but never thought to actually eat here. My husband and I finally decided to try somewhere new for sashimi, so we ate dinner here on a Friday night. As soon as you walk in, you can see a tank of fresh fish. There are about six tables in the restaurant. The menu doesn't explain what comes with each combo, so we had to ask. The lady seemed annoyed that we couldn't decide what to order right there on the spot. We ended up ordering combo A, and it was definitely more than enough for the two of us. It's BYOB, but there's a liquor store in the same plaza that sells Korean alcohol. Unfortunately, the parking lot is very small for the number of stores in the plaza. Make sure to get there before the dinner rush around 6. ”

- Yulie Kim -

“ A tiny hole in the wall for your Korean style sashimi fix. The seafood you select will come straight out of the fish tanks, onto the cutting board, and onto your table. Be a good guest, and the chef might even surprise you with not-on-the-menu specialties. For us, he cracked open a fresh uni mixed with rice, sesame oil, and seaweed. It was euphoric. ”

- Jinsung Kim -

“ This is one of my favorite mom-and-pop restaurants, offering simple and nostalgic vibes. I’ve been coming here from TX for the past five years; it’s been always my go-to spot when I’m in town. Owners’ warm hospitality never fails to make me feel at home. Sweet shrimp is typically available from February depending on availability. Their sea urchin rice and kimchi are truly exceptional. They added an English menu and charmingly designed illustrations not too long ago as shown below. Definitely worth a visit! ”

- Junho Lee -

“ It is not a fancy sashimi restaurant but my husband and I love going here whenever we have a craving for a korean style sashimi. We ordered 활어 combo A for 2 people, which was great. I highly recommend this place. ”

- Hyunsook Eunice Youn -

“ Classic hole-in-the-wall, hidden gem of K-TOWN. If you crave Korean style sashimi, definitely recommend here. If you get to know the owners here, they'll treat you like their friend and even give you more once in a while. Really cheap price for a sashimi. ”
